Privacy
Your privacy on this site
This page covers the EmuSport website, emusports.com.au: what we measure, the cookies and advertising tags we use if you allow them, and how to change your mind.
What we measure
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used: the pages and sections you view, the buttons and links you click, the campaign link you arrived from (for example a link in one of our emails), your browser and device type, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. We also replay a sample of visits to see how the page is used. There are no forms on this site, so we don’t collect your name or contact details here.
Until you accept cookies, this is anonymous and stores nothing on your device: each visit is counted on its own.
If you accept cookies
- PostHog uses a cookie and your browser’s storage to recognise a return visit.
- The LinkedIn Insight Tag and the Meta Pixel let LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) show EmuSport ads to people who have visited, and tell us how those ads perform. LinkedIn and Meta handle that data under their own privacy policies.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or block cookies in your browser.
If you contact us
If you email or call us, we keep what you send so we can reply and follow up with you. We don’t sell your information.
Where it’s stored
We run our analytics (PostHog) on our own servers, so that data stays with us. LinkedIn and Meta store and process data outside Australia. We only share what’s described on this page.
Players, parents and competitions
This page is about this website only. Competition sites and apps that run on EmuSport, like waggafutsal.com.au, protect players’ details there: junior names can be hidden per competition, and players, and parents of junior players, will control their own privacy settings, including what coaches and scouts can see.
Questions and complaints
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email andy@emusports.com.au or call 0413 588 163. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
